>Role Models..REAL Women making a Difference!

>So, I want ot take this time and recognize some REAL Role Models that are making a difference. As we all know I am following the whole Kandee Johnson craziness over on FB, some of you know what I’m talking about. There is so much concern over her fans calling her a role model (which fathoms me) I thought I would bring to light some of the women/girls that ARE making a difference for young women and girls evrywhere..there are tons of them so I apologize for only naming a few.

First off I want to mention Hannah Taylor, she started thehttp://www.ladybugfoundation.ca/ LadyBug foundation when she was eight years old, she has brought so much awareness to the homelessness situation and has helped many,at the age of 8 years old Hannah has met with the Prime Minister to address her concerns to the issue of homelessness and The LadyBug foundation has built a homeless shelter in Toronto ..have I mentioned she is only 11 years old!!!! This young woman is truly an inspiration to many, and should be looked up to as a role model because this young girl is ACTUALLY doing something to change the world!! **For more on Hannah, please check out the www.theladybugfoundation.caAnother girl that is making a difference is, Anjelica Mantikas.

For Anjelica Mantikas no dream is ever too big, especially when she and seven of her friends decided to create a charity focusing on helping enslaved children in Ghana, Africa. Together the girls have received national and international publicity for the non-profit organization by donating their time and talent to the cause. And they’re all 16 years old. Please check out http://www.oneisgreaterthannone.org/ for information on this organization. These two young women are amoung many others that are stepping out to do good in our world, these are the young women that all young women SHOULD be looking up too..not some random wannabe Make up artist that sits behind her computer and blogs about nothing, that does nothing but apply makeup and plays dress up. As women we should all be striving to make this world a better place and these two young girls have taken it upon themselves to get out there and DO IT!! I commend them on their bravery, strength, and innitiative.
